5/5 Sterne: The perfect base for a week in the mountains!

Karl's place is exactly as advertised and so much more. It is a very cosy house with enough room for 8 adults to stay comfortly. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cater to a large group and the big table was the center of our activities.

The chalet is conveniently located close to cross country slopes and hiking trails and within walking distance to the center of St. Johann with restaurants etc. Several ski resorts are within a half hour's drive so we could easily explore the different mountains and look for the best powder.

Karl is a perfect host, and I'm not just saying this because of his mother's wonderful Apfelstrudel which awaited us upon arrival.

We highly recommended Karl's Chalet for a stay in the area and perhaps will be back for another ski vacation!
